Lately I've been working in Maya. I've been figuring out different ways that I can use the program to make something new. I feel like these efforts are pushing my practice in new ways and forcing me to see my creations in a more realized manner. People ask me if I plan to turn these into "real" sculptures, but at the moment I enjoy them for what they are in their present form. I see the potential for these renderings to push my storylines and my actual two dimensional work. The goal is to have a library of characters and props that I can play with on the fly. I look forward to the day when I can sit down at my workstation and push my toys into place. As time allows I want to dive into learning how to make better rigs thay will allow me to bend my characters into new positions.
