I just got my new nibs for my Wacom tablet in the mail. Most of my work begins with sketching and lately I do a lot of pre-planning using Corel Painter with my Wacom Intuos tablet. I usually like to draw with the flex nibs, but I decided to give the stroke nibs a try. The flex nibs are more sensitive to pressure than the standard nibs for the Intuos pen and the stroke nibs are more sensitive to pressure than the flex. It is easier to get that thin to thick line quality with the stroke nibs than any other stylus nib that I have used. If you do a lot of line work in your digital drawings I would definitely give the stroke nibs a try!
